Our clients made a big move in their retirement from northern Ontario to the beautiful Niagara region. They found a lovely newly, built home in a quiet retirement community, and were ready to embark on a new phase of life. Having down-sized from two properties into one and leaving all of their furnishings behind, they were ready for a fresh start. We embraced the modern feel of their new house, created a design scheme that works with the existing architectural details and our clients functional needs and personal style. New custom cabinetry was strategically used to integrate with the existing and improve the function and storage in just about every room of the home; this includes a new kitchen island, cabinetry flanking both fireplaces, foyer accent wall, and a wine cabinet. We also created a new combined fitness room and art studio from scratch in an unfinished corner of the basement. Custom furnishings and window treatments throughout create a warm and welcoming modern space and turn this house into a beautiful home that our clients can enjoy their retirement in.
