Beyond our immediate team members, we have an extended team of trusted partners that we collaborate with, including architectural designers, engineers, landscape designers, contractors and suppliers. It is our goal to bring you a broad range of expertise and a holistic approach for all of your design needs.
Jen Nickel ARIDO, NCIDQ, Well AP
Owner & Principal Interior Designer

With over 20 years experience in the interior design industry, Jen is a seasoned professional who brings a blend of creativity, technical expertise, and a keen eye for detail to every project. After graduating at the top of her class at Fanshawe College's Interior Design program in 2004, she acquired a wide range of experience in both residential and commercial design, including 9 years at an established architecture and engineering firm. In 2014, Jen achieved NCIDQ certification to become a fully qualified Interior Designer and member of ARIDO (Association for Registered Interior Designers of Ontario). She is passionate about sustainability and wellness in design, and also holds certifications in Well AP, Healthy Materials Lab and Building Biology. When she's not designing, Jen enjoys travelling and spending time outdoors, reading, puzzling, and playing volleyball. She is blessed to be happily married to her highschool sweetheart with 3 kids
Charlene Leonard Dipl.ID
Intermediate Designer

Charlene holds an advanced diploma with honours in Interior Design from Georgian College as well as a diploma for Graphic Design & Art Fundamentals. She offers a combination of creative capabilities and thoughtful attention to client needs, along with experience in a variety of design positions, including technical drafting and kitchen & bath design, making her a valuable asset on every project. With her previous experience as a licensed real estate agent, Charlene also brings a valuable perspective on market trends and property value. Charlene assists in all aspects of a project, including concept development, sourcing and procurement, and project management. When she's not working, you'll find Charlene chasing after her adorable daughter, spending time outdoors or enjoying a round of golf.
Trish Schroeder Dipl.ID
Drafting Technician

Having graduated with a diploma in Interior Design at Fanshawe College in 2004, Trish has had over 20 years working in the design industry, with experience in both residential and commercial design. She has achieved her NCIDQ certification, and has extensive experience in technical drafting and 3D modelling for projects of all types and scales, working with multiple design firms across Canada. Trish supports all of our projects with detailed drawings and stunning renderings for presentation and construction packages. Her technical aptitude and attention to detail make her an integral part of our design team. When she's not working, you'll find Trish enjoying nature and gardening outside of her self-designed and self-built tiny home nestled in the B.C. mountains.
Michelle Smit Bach. I.D, ARIDO Intern
Client Communications & Junior Designer

A passionate and driven graduate of the Bachelors of Interior Design program at Yorkville University, Michelle is the newest member to the INVISION team. Endeavoring on a second career, she demonstrates a natural propensity for the interior design world, having a technical aptitude and creative problem-solving skills. With a keen interest in continuous learning, she is always up for a new challenge. Michelle plays a vital role in all projects, leading client communication and supporting design and project management. With her passion for design and superb organizational skills, she keeps our projects on track and running smoothly. When not working, you can find Michelle staying active, curling up with a good book, and spending quality time with her husband and her cat.
Abbey Compania Dipl.ID
Freelance Designer

Abbey is a free-lance designer that works with the INVISION team. Having graduated from Yorkville University Academy of Design, she has acquired a wealth of experience working as a free-lance designer for multiple design firms across the GTA. When she's not designing, you can find Abbey spending time with her young family and enjoying her new home town in Niagara.
